ITOCHU Metals Corporation hereby recognizes the importance of personal information and considers part of its social responsibility to protect said personal information. The Company shall comply with all laws and in-house company rules pertaining to personal information and ensure that any information the Company handles is acquired, used and administered in an appropriate manner.

Provision of Personal Data to Third Parties

The Company may not provide personal data to third parties without the consent of the individual, except as permitted by law.

Appropriate Management of Personal Data

To prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal data handled by the Company, the Company shall formulate regulations concerning the handling of personal data, appoint a person responsible for management of said data, and take other necessary and appropriate measures. In addition, the Company shall provide necessary and appropriate supervision of its employees with respect to the handling of personal data, and in the event that the Company entrusts the handling of personal data to a third party, the Company shall select a third party that meets its specified standards, and the Company shall supervise said third party to ensure that the personal data is appropriately managed.

Requests for Notification of Purpose of Use, Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use, etc. of Retained Personal Data, etc.

In the event that the Company receives a request from an individual regarding notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, elimination, or suspension of provision to a third party of his/her own personal data in the Company’s possession, or in the event that the Company receives a request from an individual regarding disclosure of a record of provision of his/her own information to a third party regarding his/her personal data in the Company’s possession, the Company shall comply with said request. In the event that the Company receives a request from the person in question to cease use, erase, or cease provision to a third party of his/her personal data, the Company shall respond appropriately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law after confirming the identity of the person making said request.
